Food And Fun At Reformapalooza

Reformapalooza is coming on 10/27/2019. And no Reformation party can be a Reformation party without plenty of food and plenty of fun.

We want your kids to love the Reformation as much as we do.

We’ve got our best minds working on a play area for the little ones. Reformer bean bag toss, pin the 95 theses on the door, and other awesome Reformation-themed games are in the works. We plan to keep your kids entertained long enough so you can enjoy your fill of bratwurst.

Members, we need you to bring stuff.

We’ll be in the garden at the Woman’s Club right after our service. Members, plan to bring a salad. If you’d like to bring another food item, let us know.

This is going to be so much fun.

Reformapalooza Is Coming Quick

Sunday, October 27th

Immediately following our Sunday service, it’s our annual celebration of the Protestant Reformation. Food for the adults. Games for the kids. This is a blast every year (check out last year’s photos).

All guests are welcome. All church members bring a salad or contact the church office for other items you can bring.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Hero Or Devil?

Martin Luther

The spark that lit the fire of the Protestant Reformation. The 16th century German pastor whose understanding of salvation by grace changed the Western world, the effects of which we feel dramatically in 21st century Orange County.

This was the same man who spat vitriol at the pope and the Catholic church. Some claim his anti-Semitic rants laid the groundwork for the Holocaust. The world’s opinion of him is divided.

Was Martin Luther a hero or a devil?

Begin your Reformation Sunday this week by joining us at Sunday School as we get to know this man.

Food And Fun At Reformapalooza

Reformapalooza is coming 1 week from this Sunday on 10/28/2018. And no Reformation party can be a Reformation party without plenty of food and plenty of fun.

We want your kids to love the Reformation as much as we do.

We’ll be in the church office parking lot right across the street from the Woman’s Club so bring your lawn chairs. We also need you to bring a salad. If you’d like to bring some other kind of food item, let Anne know ASAP.

This is going to be so much fun.

Unoriginal Christians

Our Lives Relentlessly Point to Christ

On Sunday church intern Dylan Sohie preached from 1 Corinthians 11:1. He reminded us that the Christian life is a life of imitation. Originality is overrated. We want our lives to inspire others to love and serve Jesus.

Listen to the sermon.

Reformed And Always Reforming

Thank you for celebrating the Reformation

We cherish salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone to the glory of God alone by the testimony of Scripture alone.

Thank you for loving these doctrines and for loving each other. Both are essential and you demonstrated them beautifully this past Sunday at our annual Reformation party.

Enjoy the photos above and head to our Facebook gallery for more.
