Micah's Baptism

New life in Christ and for Christ

Here is Micah’s testimony in his own words:

I’ve always grown up in a Christian home and I understood and believed the Bible, but I waited to repent and trust in God because I wanted to live how I wanted to live.

But over the years God has been working on my heart and a few months ago, a sermon spoke to me and I realized I needed Jesus as my Savior. The sermon was about how we should not wait to repent and trust in Jesus.

I’m grateful that God opened my eyes, changed my heart and He allowed me to see my sinfulness. I will never forget the feeling I had when I realized what a sinner I really am. I hope to live my life for God’s glory and to serve Him faithfully.

Thank God for saving Micah

How God Treats His Friends

Are you prepared for the inevitable?

On Sunday Pastor Eric began our newest sermon series preaching from Job 1:1-5. He reminded us that, despite all the evidence, we never see suffering coming. And when it comes, it is quickly followed by the question, “God, why this?” God’s answer is complex because our struggles are complex. But any study of suffering ultimately leads us to our Savior, the One who suffered for us. Only in Him can our suffering ever make sense.

Listen to the sermon.

Though You Slay Me

FAITH SINGS IN DAYS OF SORROW

When suffering strikes we need a song to sing. This Sunday we will learn a song that is designed for difficult days. Come ready to sing with us.

THOUGH YOU SLAY ME

Verse 1
I come, God, I come
Return to the Lord
The One who's broken
The One who's torn me apart
You strike down to bind me up
You say You do it all in love
That I might know You in Your suffering

Chorus
Though You slay me
Yet I will praise You
Though You take from me
I will bless Your name
Though You ruin me
Still I will worship
Sing a song to the One who's all I need

Verse 2
My heart and flesh may fail
The earth below give way
But with my eyes, with my eyes I'll see the Lord
Lifted high on that day
Behold, the Lamb that was slain
And I'll know every tear was worth it all

Bridge
Though tonight I'm crying out
Let this cup pass from me now
You're still all that I need
You're enough for me
You're enough for me

A Simple Way To Serve Each Other

Sundays mornings are a whirlwind. There are volunteers setting up. Sunday school in the garden. The worship team rehearsing. Guests arriving early. Families racing to get there on time.

It’s mayhem, but we love it. Every Sunday God Himself draws us together.

There is one way that you could help us make Sundays a little less chaotic and more seamless:

Scoot to the center

If there’s a big gap of chairs between you and the other folks in your row, close the gap. This makes it easier for those arriving after you to quickly and easily find a seat. It’s a simple and kind way to serve others.

Thank you for loving one another, even in the small things

Calling All Musicians

All musicians are invited to join the worship team this Thursday night.

Whether you're just starting to strum the 4 chords you know on the guitar or you're a classically-trained pianist, come play with us during our once-per-month rehearsal. The entire worship team is there. We learn about worship, we work on our musicianship, and we grow as a team.

You can just observe. You can jump in and play along. Ask for help on your instrument. You are welcome to participate however you like.
