This week Pastor Dustin is in Louisville, KY with Sovereign Grace Music. He's joining with other worship leaders from around the country to receive training and provide input on resources for leading worship in our denomination's churches. Please pray for their time together.
God Sets the Stage for His Glory
On Sunday Pastor Eric preached the first verse of the first book in the Bible, Genesis 1:1. He reminded us that the most important thing about creation is that it happened. God is the answer to the quest to explain why there is a universe in the first place. That He created is the very foundation of all knowledge. We know something about everything. What do we know? It’s all for His glory.

God Loves Music and So Do We
God is a singing God and His people are singing people. Fortunately, we live in a day and age where there are many talented musicians publishing theologically-rich, God-glorifying songs.
We have pulled some of them together into a Spotify playlist for you to enjoy. Included are a mix of songs we sing on Sundays and other songs we appreciate.
Music is an important and beautiful way that God plants His truth deep in our minds and hearts. That's why we love singing and why we pay special attention to what we sing.
We want to love God and teach ourselves truth through the songs we sing.
As we introduce a new song this week, may the unsearchable riches of God's grace, shown to us in Jesus Christ, thrill our hearts.
Listen to the song and come ready to join us in singing it on Sunday.
IN TENDERNESS
Verse 1
In tenderness He sought me
Weary and sick with sin
And on His shoulders brought me
Back to His fold again
While angels in His presence sang
Until the courts of heaven rang
Chorus
O - o - oh the love that sought me!
O - o - oh the blood that bought me!
Oh the grace that brought me to the fold of God
Grace that brought me to the fold of God
Verse 2
He died for me while I was sinning
Needy and poor and blind
He whispered to assure me:
"I've found thee, thou art Mine"
I never heard a sweeter voice
It made my aching heart rejoice
Verse 3
Upon His grace I'll daily ponder
And sing anew His praise
With all adoring wonder
His blessings I'll retrace
It seems as if eternal days
Are far too short to sing His praise
This Sunday, we introduce a new song for our congregation: Psalm 62. Listen above so that you are ready to sing along!
PSALM 62
Verse 1
My soul finds rest in God alone
My rock and my salvation
A fortress strong against my foes
And I will not be shaken
Though lips may bless and hearts may curse
And lies like arrows pierce me
I'll fix my heart on righteousness
I'll look to Him who hears me
Chorus
O praise Him, "Hallelujah!"
My Delight and my Reward
Everlasting, never failing
My Redeemer, my God
Verse 2
Find rest my soul in God alone
Amid the world's temptations
When evil seeks to take a hold
I'll cling to my salvation
Though riches come and riches go
Don't set your heart upon them
The fields of hope in which I sow
Are harvested in heaven
Verse 3
I'll set my gaze on God alone
And trust in Him completely
With ev'ry day pour out my soul
And He will prove His mercy
Though life is but a fleeting breath
A sigh too deep to measure
My King has crushed the curse of death
And I am His forever
Bridge
O praise Him, O praise Him
Hallelujah, hallelujah
O praise Him, O praise Him
Hallelujah, hallelujah
O praise Him, O praise Him
Hallelujah, hallelujah
We sing about Jesus because we love Him.
We sing about Jesus because we need Him.
This Sunday join us in singing a new song that connects our great need to our even greater Savior. Listen above or use our Spotify playlist so that you're ready to sing with us.
CHRIST IS MINE FOREVERMORE
Verse 1
Mine are days that God has numbered
I was made to walk with Him
Yet I look for worldly treasure
And forsake the King of kings
But mine is hope in my Redeemer
Though I fall, His love is sure
For Christ has paid for every failing
I am His forevermore
Verse 2
Mine are tears in times of sorrow
Darkness not yet understood
Through the valley I must travel
Where I see no earthly good
But mine is peace that flows from heaven
And the strength in times of need
I know my pain will not be wasted
Christ completes His work in me
Verse 3
Mine are days here as a stranger
Pilgrim on a narrow way
One with Christ I will encounter
Harm and hatred for his name
But mine is armor for this battle
Strong enough to last the war
And He has said He will deliver
Safely to the golden shore
Tag
And mine are keys to Zion city
Where beside the King I walk
For there my heart has found its treasure
Christ is mine forevermore
Bridge
Come rejoice now, O my soul
For his love is my reward
Fear is gone and hope is sure
Christ is mine forevermore!
As Resurrection Sunday approaches, we want to teach you a new song about Jesus' victory over death. We will sing it together this Sunday. Listen above and follow along with the lyrics below.
CHRIST IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED
VERSE 1
How can it be, the One who died
Has borne our sin through sacrifice
To conquer every sting of death?
Sing, sing: "Hallelujah!"
VERSE 2
For joy awakes as dawning light
When Christ's disciples lift their eyes
Alive He stands, their Friend and King
Christ, Christ He is risen
CHORUS
Christ is risen, He is risen indeed!
Oh sing: "Hallelujah!"
Join the chorus, sing with the redeemed
Christ is risen, He is risen indeed!
VERSE 3
Where doubt and darkness once had been
They saw Him and their hearts believed
But blessed are those who have not seen
Yet sing: "Hallelujah!"
VERSE 4
Once bound by fear now bold in faith
They preached the truth and power of grace
And pouring out their lives they gained
Life, life everlasting
(Chorus)
VERSE 5
The power that raised Him from the grave
Now works in us to powerfully save
He frees our hearts to live His grace
Go tell of His goodness
(Chorus)
BRIDGE
He's alive, He's alive!
Heaven's gates are opened wide
He's alive, He's alive!
Now in heaven glorified
