Plans are underway to form a new small group in Downtown Santa Ana. The Houltons will be hosting and leading the group. You can read more about them here. They will meet two Sundays per month, 6:00-8:00PM, beginning November 6th.
This group is a group with a dream. It'll begin like every other group does, forming a tight community centered around Christ for everyday Christian living. However, one day we hope this group will play a critical role in establishing a new sister congregation in their neighborhood. For this reason, the group is limited to those who:

Reformation Sunday is the day we celebrate the reformation and Martin Luther's 95 Theses. And this year we are headed down the street to our city's biggest park for an afternoon picnic.
Our denomination holds an annual conference for pastors and church leaders. It's a wonderful time of teaching, care, and vision. It's called the Sovereign Grace Churches Pastors Conference.
This year we are taking more men then ever. God has brought us men who aspire to serve and to lead. Many of them are already doing so and we want to make an investment in them.
It costs approximately $850 to send someone to this conference. Would you help us send some of them? Most participants pay most of the expenses personally. All of them need to take vacation. A few simply cannot pay their own way.

Join Jim and Angie (hosts) for a six week study designed to strengthen your marriage. Using the video series titled "The Art of Marriage", you'll spend time learning together in the group and alone as couples. This is a great way to grow healthy marriages in the context of community, learning from teachers like Wayne Grudem, Al Mohler, and Paul Tripp.
The next group meets Mondays, October 3rd through November 7th at Jim and Angie's residence. There is no childcare provided and the cost is $25 per couple.
