The Beauty Of The Gospel

Biblical Womanhood

On Sunday Pastor Dustin Preached from 1 Timothy 2:8-15. God has created women to display the beauty of the gospel in a unique way. As they give themselves to good works, trusting and following their pastors and husbands, the Lord blesses and builds his church. As women experience the various pains of life under the curse, God promises to deliver them through them all.

Bring Food Items On Sunday

An Opportunity to Be Generous

Deacon Les Card is hosting a food drive for the homeless in our community. You can drop off food items that will go into Thanksgiving Meal Boxes for needy families.

Here’s what we’re asking you to bring.

We’ll have a box near the entrance to the garden on the next three Sundays (10/25, 11/1, and 11/8). Drop the food items in there and Deacon Les will deliver them.

Thanks for loving your neighbors.

Join The Party

Every Sunday Morning

Our weekly services are a labor of love. Each Sunday a bunch of church members arrive early to make sure we can pull off our Sunday meeting. Sound techs, musicians, setup teams, and cleaning crews are busy serving us in unseen ways. Every volunteer experiences joy in the Lord and gratefulness for their fellow brothers and sisters as they serve alongside each other.

We’re Inviting You to Be A Part of It

There are opportunities for you to join the party on Sundays. In particular, we’re looking for additional volunteers for the cleaning crew and for childcare (which is coming soon!).

All you need to do is email the church office and we’ll find you a spot.

Our Pastors Need God's Wisdom

Pastors Eric, Dustin, and Mike meet on Zoom this Thursday for their bi-monthly pastoral team meeting. They use this time to pray for the church, care for the church, and make decisions for the church. At every point, but especially now, they need God’s perspective and guidance as they lead.

Would you take a moment to ask God to grant them wisdom, grace, and love as they seek to faithfully pastor us?

Thanks for loving and trusting your pastors.

A Peaceful Protest

Pray For All People

On Sunday Pastor Eric preached from 1 Timothy 2:1-7. We take a turn in the letter as the Apostle Paul begins to lay out practical instructions for church life. The first one: pray for all different kinds of people. Expect them in your church and in your neighborhood. Pray for your governors and leaders. Why? Because Christ Jesus is the one mediator between God and man, and he has come to save all kinds of people. Praying for them empowers us to lead peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified in every way.

Pray For Jeff

Jeff and Taylor Schlieder are former members of our church who joined the church planting team for Sovereign Grace Church of Santa Ana. Jeff is now serving as a Pastoral Resident in Santa Ana and moving towards ordination. Tomorrow, he takes our denomination’s oral ordination exam — a rigorous 3-hour test.

Would you join us in praying for him? Here are a few specifics:

  • Pray that God gives Jeff peace as he does his final preparations.

  • Pray that God gives Jeff mental clarity to answer each question faithfully and biblically.

  • Pray that God gives wisdom to the pastors from our denomination administering the exam.
