Pastor Eric began his sermon last Sunday from 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 by saying "Christians believe that there are only really two kinds of people in this world...those who are being saved (people) and those who are perishing (people). And the difference between the two is never clearer than what they think about the gospel."
Pastor Kyle Houlton from our sister church in Tucson, Arizona preached this last Sunday from Psalm 13.
"May our cry of "How long, Oh Lord?" lead us to the joy only found in our communion with Jesus."
Listen to the sermon.
Brendan Willis from our sister church in Sydney, Australia preached from Philippians 4:1-3 this past Sunday.
"I entreat Euodia and I entreat Syntyche to agree in the Lord."
Reformation Sunday
This Sunday is Reformation Sunday, the day we celebrate the reformation and Martin Luther's 95 Theses.
The celebration begins immediately following the service out in the Woman's Club Garden. All guests are welcome. German food and fun. All member and regular attenders should contact Frau Anne for food directions.
October 25, 2015
Every year we throw a big party to celebrate the rich church history we share with all protestant churches. It all happens in the Women's Club Gardens right after the service. If you are a regular attender please email Anne for meal instructions.
"But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body."
