Santa Ana - New SA Small Group Meeting Day
IMG_2474.JPG

The Santa Ana Small Group has been meeting on Sunday evenings since last November, but soon, something else will be occupying that time. Starting this fall, we'll be holding the Sovereign Grace Santa Ana Church Plant's first public services! We can't wait to spread the joy of Jesus in Santa Ana through corporate gatherings.

Every 1st and 3rd Friday Evening at 7:00pm

Because of this, our bimonthly small group meetings will be moving to Friday evenings at 7:00pm. Different time. Same place.

There Is Salvation In No one else but jesus

We're four messages into our six-sermon series, "Things People Believe". Last Sunday, Pastoral resident, Kyle Houlton addressed the objection, "There are many ways to God" from Acts 4:8-12. Give it a listen and join us next Sunday as we continue this open and honest dialogue with our non-Christian neighbors, whom we love.

Listen To The Words of His Creation Proclaiming His Existence

This last Sunday, Pastoral Resident, Kyle Houlton, taught from Psalm 19 that God doesn't merely want you to know He is there, but to know that you were created for a relationship with Him through Christ Jesus.

Santa Ana Neighbors - Faith

Faith represents a community in Santa Ana that few take the time to get to know: the homeless. But homelessness hasn't always been part of her story and it's not where she wants her story to end either. She's a former business owner. She has two children. She moved to Orange County from the midwest less than ten years ago. She's living in "the Courtyard" (the transitional homeless shelter on Ross and Civic Center) for the time being, but she's been attending classes at Santa Ana College for the past two years and working toward re-establishing her career.

You can often find her studying at Starbucks on 4th and Broadway. If you come across her ... or any other homeless on the street, say hi. It may result in more Santa Anans becoming followers of Christ.

Santa Ana Neighbors - David

A Man Committed to The Growth of His City

David works for the OC Small Business Development Center near the 5 on Main. He works tirelessly to help men and women of Santa Ana start, build and grow their businesses, especially through his deep expertise in social media and web-based marketing strategies.

As much as he's committed to the growth of businesses, he's even more passionate about people; the individuals that comprise the city, receiving the resources they need to thrive socially, financially and personally. David has a heart for the people around him.

David is our Santa Ana neighbor. We hope you get the chance to meet him.

A Man Who Loves His Community Through Art

Dino has been an artist since he was 14 years old. He lives in Downtown Santa Ana and grew up in the same city. Now he uses what he loves to enrich the lives of the people he loves.

Dino works for a nonprofit called Community Engagement, which brings art into diverse and often underserved communities. You can see Dino at work doing this very thing on the first Saturday of every month, when he brings original pieces of his artwork transformed into coloring sheets printed on cardstock for people, children and adults alike, to share his love of art.

We love our neighbors. We hope you get to meet Dino.

The Best Day To Meet Santa Ana

DTSA Art Walk

Want to meet Santa Ana? Want to know when the locals of DTSA come out to meet and greet one another? It's the first Saturday night of every month.

"The event is the single best night of the month for downtown artists, galleries and restaurants alike because of the 3,500+ monthly attendees visiting around 20 galleries/museums, arts and artisan street vendors, live art performances and special events going on downtown."

Come to downtown Santa Ana on the first Saturday night of this next Month, on July 1 and add your face to the mix.
