Pray For These Two Churches

Our church is part of a family of churches that believes we are better together than we are apart. We build relationally, one local church to another, in hopes of strengthening both. We do more than commit financial resources or attend conferences, we agree to stand with other local churches in times of need and trials.

Please take a moment to pray this week for two of our sister churches who find themselves facing tragedies.  Covenant Life Fellowship in Roseburg, Oregon is located near the the recent massacre on the campus Umbqua Community College. Sovereign Grace Church of the Lowcountry is dealing with historic flooding in South Carolina.

Ask God to comfort these churches.

Ask God to use these churches to comfort their cities.

Introducing Our New Opportunity Fund

Last Sunday our pastors introduced our new Opportunity Fund. A place for us to begin saving for future strategic opportunities.

Church Planting

Leadership Development

Global Missions

Facilities Acquisitions

Think of this fund as the place where we set aside money for future ministry expansion. We could set up a different fund for each of the categories listed above (and one day we might do so), but for now we intend to remain nimble and flexible. Donations given to this fund will be used to extend our ministry beyond our current capacities.

Expect to receive invitations to give to this fund regularly (you can do so here). Our ambitions for God cannot be modest. We want the gospel and God's glory to grow.

Help Wanted

We want to hire one of the above.

God is at work in and through us and it's time to employ someone to help administrate our shared ministry. This is thrilling. Be encouraged. Thank God for all the pieces coming together. Our pastors and the Finance and Law Committee are eager to see us find the right person to fill one of these positions.

Why two job postings?

We are prepared to fill one position, but believe both are necessary. You might say we are casting our net wide and praying God will lead us to employ the right person.

Who should apply?

It doesn't hurt to ask. We'll be nice if you aren't the right person. Everyone who loves Jesus and wants to see the gospel advance and God's church prosper in Southern California should apply.
