Volunteer

Yep, we get to do this again! We have a great opportunity to serve the church at large by volunteering at Worship God 2014.  This conference blesses and reaches hundreds of churches and thousands of Christians, and we have a chance to help make this happen. 

The volunteers will be able to attend the conference during their serving time slot(s), and during an additional time slot. So, if you serve Thursday Morning, you can attend that sessions plus the Thursday PM sessions. We are excited for this opportunity to serve and be served at Worship God 2014.

We will need people to help with Registration, Greeting, Help Desk, and the Bookstore. 

Who Can Sing Up

• Those 18 and older (if you would like to bring your kids to serve that's great, but they do not need to sign up)
• Members and Regular Attenders at Sovereign Grace Church OC
• If you are not at Sovereign Grace Church OC please email the church office to volunteer

Where Are Sign Ups

To sign up, click on this link and select the days and time slots you would like to serve. Use your name and have an email address ready. After you sign up we will follow up with you when we can to see where you would like to serve.

We would love an opportunity to get to know you better! Join us this Sunday, 03-23-14, immediately following the service, for a guest reception at a cottage in Old Towne Orange. 

Lunch is on us, all you have to do is show up. It's a come-and-go as you please format and kids are welcome. Members of the church and a pastor will be there to greet you.

Last week our Youth Group went Hugger Mugging, hoping to establish a new tradition of extravagantly thanking God for the members of our church. They decorated two homes, left gifts on the doorsteps, knocked, and then ran for their lives. It was so much fun!

Feel free to form your own group, make a plan, and do the same. Let's be a thankful church. Just don't take this as license to vandalize peoples homes. Remember, not every Hugger Mugger ends with toilet paper in the trees.

Thanks for praying for Pastor Eric and the students of CCM Irvine this week. It was so encouraging to see this group loving Jesus on the campus of UCI.

Which reminds us...

We are surrounded by universities filled with students from all over the world. They are cities within our city.

Please join us in praying for more opportunities to bless and strengthen campus ministries. Ask God to use us as he saves students and faculty.

We might not have any grand plans to establish our own college fellowship, but we do have the gospel and a church full of people who love people!
