Our Favorite Conference

Last week our pastors gathered with leaders from other churches around the globe for our annual Pastors Conference. It was a rich time of singing, teaching, and fellowship. And you can benefit from it!

You may not have 10 hours to listen through all the sessions. If you were to pick just one, we recommend the breakout session led by Josh Blount on complementarianism in the age of gender wars. Our marriages reflect the glorious truth of the gospel. That’s why we give ourselves, by God’s grace, to grow as husbands and wives — so that Christ is honored. In 2024, we are offering a new course to help married couples refresh and refine their relationship.

The course is designed for any couple who desires to grow — whether newlywed, empty-nester, retired, or any other stage of life.

The course is led by Pastor Mike and his wife, Lois. Meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month for 9 months beginning in January. Each couple who joins will take a “leave of absence” from their small group.

Spots are limited. If you and your spouse are interested, click the link below for more details and to submit an application. The group will be finalized mid-December and you’ll be notified if you have a spot.

Christmas Eve is on A Sunday

This year, Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday. The pastors have decided to hold just one service that Sunday — our evening, candlelight service. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors. It’s sure to be a beautiful night as we rejoice in the incarnation of our heaven-sent Savior.

Mark your calendars now. Pull out your best cookie recipe. Warm up your voice to sing in the choir. Let’s make a great memory and share the gospel this Christmas Eve.

Our pastors and a couple leaders are in Florida this week for our denomination’s annual Pastors’ Conference. All the pastors of Sovereign Grace Churches gather for 3 days to be refreshed by biblical preaching, unite in fellowship with one another, and work on advancing our shared mission. Leaders from all around the globe are coming together.

Please take a moment to pray for our leaders, for the conference, and that God would continue to prosper the gospel initiatives of our denomination. It’s good to be a Sovereign Grace church.
