Jesus Has Mercy On Those Who Doubt

John 20:24-31

We gather every Sunday to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed. God's Word is preached and the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts. We expect to encounter Jesus and be equipped to better serve him each week.

Thanks to all who missed the sermon because you were serving during the service. We are grateful for you and couldn't have done it without you. Enjoy listening to the recording.

A New Schedule For Our Newsletter

One Email Per Week

You may have been surprised yesterday when you didn’t receive an email from Sovereign Grace Church. You may be equally surprised that you’re receiving one from us today. That’s because starting this week we’re changing our newsletter schedule.

We’re moving from two emails per week down to one. We’ll make sure you have all the info you need in one weekly newsletter that will arrive in your inbox on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. This will continue to be the best place to find out what’s happening at our church. Stay tuned.

Join Us at 9:00am This Sunday

All-You-Can-Eat donut Buffet
9:00am - 10:00am
Easter Sunday

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is worth celebrating! And while we’ll celebrate with singing, preaching, praying, and Scripture like we always do, we’re hosting an all-you-can-eat donut buffet to put an exclamation point on our Resurrection celebration.

There will be more donuts than you can handle (including a gluten-free option), coffee, and plenty of friends to enjoy the moment with. We’ll have our photo booth, so come dressed to impress (see the photos from last year right here).

You could just show up at 10:00am. But don’t do that. Come at 9:00am and mark the moment with us. Everyone is welcome.

Setting Our Hearts On The Cross and Resurrection

Resources for Holy Week

If you’re looking for recommended ways to focus on the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ, look no further. We’ve provided a few options for individuals and families to get their attention on the most important events of the saving work of Christ.

1) Easter Week in Real Time. A chronological guide through the Bible’s account of the events leading up to the death and resurrection of Christ. Read sections from Scripture each day.

2) Big Picture Bible Crafts for Kids. Simple, printable sheets for young kids. There’s one for the cross and another for the resurrection.

3) Why Do We Celebrate Easter? by John Piper. A short interview with John Piper explaining the Biblical significance of the resurrection.

4) A Spotify Playlist of Resurrection Songs. This is curated by Sovereign Grace Music and filled with rich songs that will stir your heart to sing to Christ.

May God grant us to be grateful for the cross and resurrection of our Savior.

Orange Plaza Car Show On April 16th

Too Many Hotrods to Handle

One week from this Sunday the Orange Plaza Car show is coming to town! If you’ve never been to it, you’re in for a treat. There are cars, food, games, and more. Plan to hang out downtown after church and support local charities.

Parking is tight that Sunday because of the car show, so make sure you arrive to the service a little earlier than normal.
