Do You Know the Lord?

On Sunday guest preacher Ron Boomsma from our sister church in Pasadena preached from Jeremiah 9:23-24. He reminded us that knowing the Lord is the best. We glory in the reality that God has made himself known to us. As we delight ourselves in knowing God we find energy to pursue him, boldness to serve him, and contentment as we trust him.

Our friends at Sovereign Grace Music have released the first song from their upcoming Christmas album. In a time of trial and pain we need to remember the God who came to bring hope. These songs promise to be a gift to those of us who want to delight ourselves in the kindness of Christ.

Discipleship and Friendship

Tons of church members are meeting one-on-one throughout the month (outside and physical distanced) to discuss the sermon on the mount. We’re grateful for the investment they’re making in one another’s lives. Would you take a moment and pray for God to bless their time together?

We need to take it seriously

On Sunday Pastor Dustin preached from 1 Timothy 1:18-20. Here the Apostle Paul calls us to fight the good fight of faith. We fight courageously. We hold fast to the gospel. We pursue righteousness. We do all of it knowing that our Savior is supporting and defending us.
