Sign Up For The Women's Mini Retreat

Grow Together

The women of Sovereign Grace Church are gathering for a one-day mini retreat in March. Plan to join us for 7 hours of teaching, reflection, small group discussions, food, and games. We’ll be learning about believing Scripture, teaching it to ourselves, and sharing it with one another.

We’re hosting it at a home in Tustin, CA. Women ages 14 and up are invited. Guests from outside the church are also welcome. We will not be offering childcare.

The cost is $20/attendee. Deadline to register is March 7, 2020.

Secure your spot right here.

What Are You Bringing?

Our annual Communion Service is almost here. We do this once a year on Daylight Savings Sunday. Our morning service is canceled and we gather in the evening for a feast punctuated by the remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ.

March 8th, 2020

5:00-7:00PM

This is a family-style meal which means controlled chaos. Kids will be running around. People will be up and about. And that's ok.

It's an opportunity to make new friends. Plan to sit with people you don't know well or don't know at all.

It’s a potluck.

Here’s what we need you to bring:

  • Households of 1 or 2, bring a side.

  • Households of 3 or 4, bring an entree.

  • Households of 5 or more, bring a side and an entree.

  • Dessert is voluntary. If you want to bring something sweet to share, then please do!

*Your household is the number of people who will be eating the meal. No need to count infants.

Email the church office if you have any questions.

Lay Hold Of God's Willingness

“Prayer is not overcoming God’s reluctance, but laying hold of his willingness.”
– Martin Luther

It’s our aim at our Tuesday morning prayer meetings to lay hold of God’s willingness. He has good plans and intentions for us. We press into them by praying.

Consider joining us on an upcoming Tuesday morning. All the details are here. You can even sign up for text message reminders. Come have your faith stirred as we pursue God together.

For God's Glory And Our Joy

We Are United By Jesus' Saving Work

The death of Jesus means life for us, a life that we now live together. We gather in small groups in our neighborhoods to sing, pray, share, and encourage. We do this to become like the Savior who loves us.

These Are Not Normal Meetings

God is at work. He is drawing us together. His Spirit is transforming us and empowering us to minister to one another. Though what we do appears natural, it is decidedly supernatural.

Join In

If you've not yet found a small group, get in touch with us. We want to help you experience and participate in the every-member ministry of Sovereign Grace Church. It's all for God’s glory and our joy.

Remember The Men's Retreat

3 Churches Full of Gospel Men

Our men’s retreat last weekend was rich. We’re praying God bears fruit in our churches that we can trace back to this weekend.

A big thank you to the men and their families who spent money and made arrangements so that the guys could be there.

If you want a view into what our time was like, check out our photo album and video playlist.

For those who joined us, we’d love to add your photos and videos from the retreat to our albums. Please send them to our photo account.

Church Unity

Too Easily Taken for Granted

On Sunday guest preacher Ben Kreps shared from Psalm 133. Jesus’ saving work unites Christians to one another. Unity in the church is a gift to enjoy, a treasure to protect, and a message to communicate. May we cherish and guard our precious blood-bought unity.

Listen to the sermon.
