Complete February's Bible Memorization Challenge

February’s Verse: Genesis 1:26-27 (ESV)

26 “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’

27 So God created man in his own image,
    in the image of God he created him;
    male and female he created them.”

How are you doing memorizing February’s Bible verse?

We’re a little over half-way through the month. Make sure you show us you’ve memorized it by either:

  1. Recording a video and sending it to info@sovgraceoc.org. You’re on the honor system, but make sure to keep your eyes on the camera.
    OR

  2. Heading to our Welcome Desk on a Sunday morning and reciting it to one of the Connect Team members. After you do, send an email to info@sovgraceoc.org letting us know which Connect Team member you recited it to.

Learn more about how to memorize Scripture here and here.

“I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.”
-Psalm 119:16

Your Pastors Appreciate Your Prayers

Tomorrow night, as you care for each other in small groups, the pastors of Sovereign Grace Church will be meeting to discuss their favorite topic: serving you. It’s a privilege to serve you and the pastors want to do it with wisdom and skill. They want to be in-step with what the Lord is doing in our church.

Between now and tomorrow evening will you take a moment and ask the Lord to meet them? Thank you for being the kind of church that is a joy to pastor.

God Takes His Bow

God Finished Something

On Sunday Pastor Eric preached from Genesis 2:1-3, the seventh day of creation. After completing all His creative work God rested. Not because He was tired, but because He was done. He rests from His work of creation but not from His work of redemption. We enter that rest now by believing in God’s only begotten Son.
