We are currently training 8 people to counsel and comfort those in our city who are struggling with a crisis pregnancy. Pray for them. Lives could depend on it.
Theology on Tap - January
This week at Theology on Tap the men are debating the nature of the millennium from Revelation 20. Although the group is currently on a waiting-list only, you can still follow along on Facebook and do the homework.
If you watch closely, you'll see Nate Stiff from Redeeming Grace Church in Palm Desert. He led worship at our Sunday service a few weeks ago. Jonathan Baird from our sister church in Pasadena is also there.
Thursday Night Youth Group
All junior and senior high are invited to join us for pizza, fun, and fellowship on January 14, 2016, 7-9pm. Pizza is free. Drinks and parents are on your own.
Once a year we offer a course on the biblical principles of financial stewardship. The classes are conducted in a small group setting, using a discussion format and curriculum adapted from Crown Ministries.
8 classes, every other Tuesday, beginning January 26.
Les and Sue lead the class and you'll find lots of people in the church with testimonies like this one. Materials cost $45 and scholarships are available. The registration deadline is January 17th.

Throughout 2016 the rotation of Sunday School teachers at Sovereign Grace Church will be working through 25 of the 150 Psalms to help us learn how to pray, praise, & lament biblically.
