The Houltons and Turbedskys On Retreat

Church Planter Cohort Retreat

The Houltons and Turbedskys are traveling this week for a marriage retreat. Hosted by Sovereign Grace Churches, this event is designed to equip church planters to launch well and last long. The topic is rest and romance.

Please pray for both couples as they go away. Also pray for their children back home. Let's ask God to refresh them even as they learn and grow.

Our Pastors Are Taking A Road Trip

West Regional Assembly Of Elders

Our Pastoral Team is headed to Gilbert, Arizona for the annual West Regional Assembly of Elders Retreat. This is a gathering of all the pastors in our sister churches in the western region of the US.

We are a part of a family of churches called Sovereign Grace Churches and this is part of how we partner together for mission and fellowship.  Along with prayer and study and fun, all sorts of business and training will occur. Ordination exams will be conducted. Committees will meet. Updates on church planting and global missions. Mickey Connelly, director of Church Development will be present.

Please pray for this event. Pray for the assemblies vote to approve Dustin Smetona for ordination. Ask God to use Pastor Eric as he speaks about church planting and Kyle Houlton as he shares an update on our efforts to reach Santa Ana.

Church Picnic This Sunday After Our Service

Picnic in the Plaza

This Sunday is one of our regularly scheduled plaza invasions. If you’re planning to eat lunch then you are invited. Following our worship service, we will head to the Plaza Park for lunch.

Plan to either bringing your lunch with you to church or purchasing take out at any of the restaurants in Old Towne Orange. Our favorite is Blaze Pizza.

FYI Blankets and our world famous Buck-O-Slice pizza will also be available. Guests eat free. Tell your friends this is the most delicious Sunday to visit Sovereign Grace.

Celebrate Easter With Us

Traditions

Every Easter we gather as a family to celebrate the resurrection. Of course every Sunday is a resurrection Sunday, but Easter Sunday is different. It's the one day each year where we take photos, eat too many donuts, dress up a little nicer, and mark the passing of yet another year together. Easter is our family reunion. It's our tradition.

Donuts and Photobooth at 9:30am.

Easter Service: 10:30am.
