General Fund Special Offering

Please join our pastors in praying for our special offering on Sunday, September 7th.

We receive three special offerings throughout the year: Benevolence Fund at Christmas, Opportunity Fund at Easter, and General Fund at Labor Day.

We don’t spend much time talking about finances and you are a generous church. Money has always been just one of the many ways that you give of yourself to the good of our congregation and our mission to reach every Californian with the joy of Jesus. You truly are joyful, generous, ordinary neighbors!

This year is the first year in a very long time that we ran a deficit. We spent more than we received and this was due to a number of factors. One of them may even be that we received record contributions to our Benevolence and Opportunity funds. And next year’s budget is balanced. You’ll receive more info at our fall church members meeting.

The funds we give on September 7th will enable us to continue with our plans to strengthen and supply our everyday ministry to one another. There is no goal. The deficit is $32,000. Please join us in praying for God to provide.
