First Friday Fast - December

Join us in fasting on the first Friday of every month in 2018. Church members who participate will be invited to a year-end party to celebrate the answers to our prayers.

If fasting is new to you, here are some instructions.

YOURSELF

Our prayer focus for December is you. Our lives should be the place we are most desperate for God to be at work.

  • Pray that the good news of forgiveness and freedom through Jesus Christ would be even more precious to you.

  • Pray for God to lead you to new ways of serving your family, your church, and your neighbors.

  • Pray for God to deliver you from temptation.

  • Cast on the Lord those specific burdens which currently trouble your heart.

  • Pray that God would keep you from growing weary in doing good.

  • Pray for God to grow you in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

  • Pray for the Spirit to manifest power, love, and self-control in your life.

  • Pray that you would be the aroma of Christ to those you encounter.

  • Pray for God to infuse hope and peace in your heart.

  • Pray that God would keep your gaze fixed on the wonderful future He has in store for those who love Him.
