Sunday School This Week

Most of us know the traffic laws and yet we still break them. Rolling a stop sign. Consistently driving above the speed limit. It makes you wonder: why bother having traffic laws if nobody completely follows them?  We've had to formulate a response to that question in order to justify their continued existence (and expansion).

The same question is asked of the laws that God assigns to us - specifically to laws regarding morality. Why would God give us laws if He knew we would break them? This is a big question on which rests the character of God and His relationship to humans. It's vital that we answer it correctly.

Our discussion at Sunday School this weekend will center around asking and answering Question 15 of the New City Catechism: Since no one can keep the law, what is its purpose? Join us at 10am in the garden of the Woman's Club as we work through this together.
