No More Offering Baskets

You are a generous church.

We have transitioned away from passing offering baskets on Sundays during our services. However, you are still able to give in person. There is an offering box located just inside our meeting room, near the Audio/Video team. Please be sure to deposit your offering before or immediately after the service.

In addition to the offering box, you can give electronically.

Bank or ACH payments

When possible, we prefer bank or ACH payments since credit and debit card fees are significantly higher. Please instruct your financial institution to send payments to: Sovereign Grace Church, 307 East Chapman Avenue #400, Orange, CA 92866.

Learn more about how to give, including how our three different funds are utilized here.

Love One Another

John 13:31-38

We gather every Sunday to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed. God's Word is preached and the Holy Spirit transforms our hearts. We expect to encounter God and be equipped to better serve him each week.

Thanks to all who missed the sermon because you were serving during the service. We are grateful for you and couldn't have done it without you. Enjoy listening to the recording.

Pray for the fires near Pasadena

The homes of many of the members of our sister church in Pasadena are currently being threatened by the Eaton Fire. Please pray for pastors Tim and Bill. Pray for safety. Pray for opportunities to be a source of God’s hope and comfort in their community.

We are monitoring the situation. Complete the form below if you would like to be added to our volunteer list.

New Offering This Sunday

The Baskets are Gone

2025 ushers in new things, including how we receive our offering. As announced, we’re getting rid of the baskets. We’ll have a collection box in the lobby where you can give cash or checks. You can also give online anytime and even setup recurring payments.

We’re so grateful for the faith and faithfulness that your giving represents.

“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:6-8

A Song for the New Year

We Offer Every Year to the Lord

How many Christian songs have been written specifically for a new year? Not many. But our friends at Sovereign Grace Music have written a beautiful one.

Listen here and enjoy the lyrics below.

VERSE 1
This spinning world by Your own hand
Hurls ever on around the sun
The seasons march at Your command
The old departs, the new year comes
And though celestial is Your gaze
You search and care for all our ways
We offer up to You this day
And all of our tomorrows

VERSE 2
May zealous youth and cautious age
Determine not the steps we choose
Great Shepherd, guide us through each day
Oh, how we want to follow You
Come Living Way, our way make clear
Let perfect love drive out our fear
Be Thou our vision, now and here
And all of our tomorrows

VERSE 3
When winter makes us reminisce
Of warmer days so distant now
Of cherished saints the sun once kissed
Whose beauty passed behind the clouds
Let all our fond and longing tears
Remind us we are pilgrims here
We trust You, Sovereign of our years
With all of our tomorrows

VERSE 4
Hands to the plow, we’re pressing on
And running hard to win the prize
Empowered by the love of God
With grace before and grace behind
For lo, what hope before us stands
You finish all that You began
Eternal joy is in Your hands
And all of our tomorrows
